FLY FISHING IN GEVSJÖSTRÖMMEN
Do you and your group want to fish undisturbed for large trout in the Jämtland mountain environment?
During the period 20 June–31 August, it is possible to book Gevsjöströmmen together with accommodation in Gevsjöstugan for a minimum of three nights.
We only accept one party at a time, which means that only the booked party will fish in Gevsjöströmmen during the stay. Minimum two people and maximum eight people. Only fly fishing is allowed.
There is great interest and booking is done via the registration form further down the page. Dates are offered based on availability.
Gevsjöstugan is divided into two apartments with a shared toilet and shower. Each apartment has four beds divided into two bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, fridge, freezer and drying cabinet.
Outside the cottage there is a shelter with a barbecue area.
We never book multiple parties at the same time. If you are 2–4 people, you will have one apartment and if you are 5–8 people, you will have both apartments.

Fishing license costs SEK 450 per person per day.
Boat with motor and life jackets included in the price. It is a boat trip of about 15-20 minutes from the cottage to the Gevsjöströmmen.
At the stream there is a shelter from the wind with a roof. There is also a fireplace and utensils for cooking.

Our fishing route is in high demand and we have a limited number of places each season. In order to be offered a date, you must fill out the interest form below. The waiting time is currently long. We will get back to you when there are vacancies – and then in order based on when the interest registration has been received.

The slideshow shows some of the larger trout that have been caught in the Gevsjöström in recent years. Many large trout are taken every year, and the very largest are up to 8kg and 90cm.
The film shows the Gevsjöströmmen. The stretch is about 2km long with varying water.
